The civil ceremony took place outside, right beside the lake. Beforehand, Gabby and Matt chose to step away together into the Stone Garden to share private vows. It was a quiet, grounding moment – a pause to reflect, to ask for protection and guidance for their future, and to begin the day on their own terms.

During the ceremony, readings by Matt’s brother, Christopher, and Gabby’s close friend, Hollie, added warmth and emotional depth.
