Erikos ir Are vestuvės Monte Pacis įvyko rugpjūčio pradžioje. Vestuvių vizija – padaryti šventę artimiausiems žmonėms, sukurti gerą nuotaiką ir puikų laiką. Nuotakai buvo svarbiausia, kad įamžinčiau puokštę, dekorą, nuotaiką, meilę ir artumą. Ar pavyko? Jūs spręskite.
Nuotaka kūrybinga, perfekcionistė, romantiška, jautri, matanti detales, mylinti šeimą. Jaunikis atsipalaidavęs kasdienybėje, mylintis šeimą, labai geras, tolerantiškas, mėgsta žvejoti, greitai užsidegantis gerąja prasme – prisijungia prie idėjų ir dalyvauja “projektuose”. Kartu jie mėgsta ilsėtis, kurti projektus, būti kartu ir rūpintis šeima. Are pamatė Eriką buvusioje darbovietėje ir įsimylėjo (sakė, kad nieko gražesnio nebuvo matęs ir trenkė žaibas, ir perkūnas) ir pasakė sau, kad vieną dieną ši mergina bus jo. Laikas ėjo ir pradėjo po truputį susirašinėti, susitiko pirmą kartą, kai susitiko dar kartą, tas nedrąsus vyras ilgai žiūrėjo Erikai į akis ir paklausė ar as bus jo žmona! Erika pasakė, kad norėtų bent mėnesio apsispręsti! Taip dienos tapo mėnesiais, mėnesiai – metais ir po gražių 8 metų nutarė pasakyti vienas kitam taip.
Įdomi vestuvių dienos detalė – jos vyko antradienį. Atrodo keistas pasirinkimas, nei skaičiai kartojasi, nei dar kas. Tiesiog, jaunieji ir jų svečiai visi atvažiavo iš Norvegijos atostogoms, ir jau nesvarbu kurią dieną vyks vestuvės. Kas kart džiaugiuosi, kai pasiruošimas, ceremonija ir šventinė degustacinė vakarienė vyksta vienoje vietoje, o ypač jei jaunieji pasirenka Monte Pacis. Diena be streso, be skubėjimo su puikiu maistu bei gėrimais – garantuota. Nuotakos ir visų svečių vestuvių rytas prasidėjo Monte Pacis. Be jokio skubėjimo. Ceremonija irgi vyko liepų alėjoje. Ją vedė Kauno Evangelikų Liuteronų bažnyčios kunigas Saulius Juozaitis. Po ceremonijos, visų laukė gėrimai ir užkandžiai, šeimos nuotraukos, jaunųjų fotosesija ir pertraukėlė prieš degustacinę vakarienę. Jaunieji daug fotografuotis nenorėjo, skyrėme fotosesijai pusvalandį ir to pilnai užteko. Juk daug svarbiau laiką skirti bendravimui su svečiais. Visiems susėdus, prie Robertos nuostabiomis kompozicijomis papuošto ilgo stalo, dar sykį įsitikinau, kodėl taip patinka fotografuoti vestuves ir kaip norvegai mėgsta sakyti kalbas. Gaila, kad norvegiškai nesuprantu.

Erika and Are’s wedding took place in Monte Pacis at the beginning of August. The vision for the wedding was to create a celebration for their closest people, to create a good mood and a great time. For the bride, the most important things were to capture the bouquet, the decor, the mood, the love, and the closeness. Did it work? You decide.
The bride is a creative, perfectionist, romantic, sensitive, detail-oriented person who loves her family. The groom, on the other hand, is relaxed in everyday life, loves his family, has a good-natured personality, is tolerant, likes fishing, and gets enthusiastic quickly. They both enjoy relaxing, working on projects, being together, and taking care of their family.
The couple’s love story began when the groom, Are, saw Erika at his former workplace and fell in love with her. He was struck by her beauty and felt as if lightning and thunder had hit him. From that moment on, he knew that he wanted to be with her. Over time, they started to communicate slowly and eventually met. When they met again, the timid Are looked into Erika’s eyes for a long time and asked her to be his wife. Erika asked for a month to decide, and over time, their relationship blossomed. After eight years, they decided to say yes to each other and get married.
On the wedding day, an interesting detail was that it took place on a Tuesday. Despite there being no significance to the day itself, it was chosen because the couple and their guests had come from Norway for a vacation, and any day would have worked for them. The wedding was held at Monte Pacis, which was the perfect choice for the newlyweds as it allowed for stress-free preparation, ceremony, and dinner all in one location, with great food and drinks.
The morning of the wedding, the bride and guests began their day at Monte Pacis without any rush. The ceremony took place in the linden alley, officiated by Priest Saulius Juozaitis of Kaunas Evangelical Lutheran Church. After the ceremony, drinks and snacks were served, followed by family photos, a photo session of the newlyweds, and a break before the tasting dinner.
The couple chose to keep the photo session short, as they wanted to spend more time communicating with their guests. The dinner was held at a long table decorated beautifully by Roberta’s compositions. I once again realized why I like wedding photography so much and how Norwegians like speaches. It’s a pity I don’t understand Norwegian.
